About Karen Burkholder

Karen Burkholder grew up as the youngest daughter of the youngest daughter on a small East Texas farm. Those early years taught her the value of family, hard work, and community — lessons that continue to guide everything she does today.

In 1988, she made Dallas her home. Now, she and her husband enjoy life surrounded by their children and grandchildren, cherishing the simple joys that come from faith, family, and service.

Professionally, Karen serves as an independent insurance agent specializing in legacy protection planning — helping families stay in their homes longer, protect their dignity, and pass on what truly matters.

Her approach is built on one belief:

Karen believes a meaningful life includes giving back.
As an active member of the Kiwanis Club, she leads and participates in community projects that provide meals, school supplies, and support for disaster relief efforts across Texas and Oklahoma.
